Transmission test

tempo fa da più parti era stato ascoltato un test di trasmissone in onde corte con musica ed annunci senza ID in cui si richiedeva l'invio di un rapporto di ricezione alla mail transmissiontest@gmail.com

Ho provveduto all'invio per due o tre ascolti in date e su frequenze differenti.

ieri ho ricevuto una mail di conferma da parte di G4OYX che è stato ingegnere presso il centro ad onde corte di Woofferton in Gran Bretagna dall'81 al 2012.

I test sono stati eseguiti a causa di guasti ripetuti su un trasmettitore da 300 KW.

di seguito il testo dell' e-mail ricevuta:

Thank you for your report and I confirm the details are correct. These transmissions were to fault-find on a 300 kW sender at the UK HF transmitter station at Woofferton. 

The engineers needed a long test time as the fault was of an intermittent nature.

Babcock, Woofferton is the only remaining UK HF sender broadcast station and also is the only one with this transmission test audio and email address.

The audio is contained in a file playout system and incorporates non-copyright music and voice announcements from one of the employees at the transmitter site.
